LOGMEIN DPMS DRIVER DOWNLOAD
Then try to blank the screen and it will ask if you want to install DPMS and it actually will do it! Also I uninstalled the monitor drivers while I was controlling the computer via Logmein, so for those of you like me, don’t worry it won’t kill your session. I’m having the same problem and the fix suggested here does not work. Worked like a charm. It has been suggested that I contact the OEM and add the device to the device manager manually but is this something I can do online?

Hi This is a great fix. I’m having the same problem and the fix suggested here does not work. I realise this was over a year ago I was actually on the phone to logmein support lotmein I came across this fix. I was left on hold for at least 10 minutes and I had to hang up. I have a problem because when I try to blank the host computer’s screen I get a message saying that logmein could not install the DPMS-enabled monitor driver.
Just uninstall each monitor, even if it says DPMS next to it. It should prompt again to install the DPMS drivers, and for me at least the installation worked this time.
lgmein Just to expand a bit, I had my monitor which was dpms enabled and was working fine for the past 2 years. It didn’t work for me until i uninstalled all the monitors. Now just log in with a remote client again I used my iphone and go to the connection settings and set it to blank the screen.

Worked like a charm. Go to Device Manager, expand the Monitors tree. Can I update my monitor drivers online? For whatever reason if you have a bad monitor driver installed it won’t update it correctly, but removing the monitor in device manager did the trick for me.
Click the computer name at top, Right click and hit Scan for Changes. It should dpmms and add your monitors again.
Go to Device Manager. It has been suggested that I contact the OEM and add the device to the device manager manually but is this something I can do online?
I thought the old monitor driver as it had dpms it should be good. Log out and back in. Just to add to comments dpmw Worked like a charm! Cannot install DPMS-enabled monitor driver – c That will scan your computer for any hardware logmeln hasn’t been installed. Then scan for new hardware. Right click, hit uninstall.
Somewhere else someone posted this solution that works for me: Go ahead and close the Computer Managment window.
